I dyed the cloth in 2 tea baths. For each tea bath, I used 8-10 tea bags, seeped in boiling water, and let the cloth soak over night. This process dyed 10 handkerchiefs. Mostly, this is a lesson in never buying white cloth to use for food stains where everything is super obvious on a white background.
