INGREDIENTS
- 2lb sweet potato
- 1 tbs cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp chipotle powder
- ~1/2 tsp ground pepper
- Olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 425 deg F.
- Wash sweet potato and cut into even fries (1/4″ wide and thick).
- Toss sweet potato fries with cornstarch and salt. Drizzle with olive oil and coat until there is no clumps of cornstarch.
- Arrange on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20min.
- Flip the fries, bake for an additional 10-20min until crispy.
- Toss fries with seasoning.
Thoughts
I used ~1.5lb sweet potatoes and 1 potato when making. I accidentally added the powdered seasoning to the fries before baking instead of after. Was crispier with cornstarch but not super crispy.
