Thoughts
Favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe at the moment, had a firm exterior and nice soft middle. It’s really important to not over bake the cookies, they will be soft out of the oven and firm up while cooling. Reduced white sugar from 1 cup to 1/2 cup, used unsalted butter and upped salt to 1 tsp coarse kosher salt. Perfect baking time of 11 minutes to get golden top and more solid center, very soft but firms up after cooling, cool tray 10 minutes between batches. Scooped dough in a heaping tablespoon scoop or 2-2.5 tbs amounts.
