Chrysanthemum tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tbs sugar
  • 5g / 2.5 tbs / 0.2 oz / 50 chrysanthemum flower buds

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In pitcher, add sugar and flower buds.
  2. Boil water, add to pitcher and steep for 5 minutes to a few hours, stir to dissolve sugar.
  3. Remove flower buds. Serve cold.
  4. Ratio: 1 cup water: 1 tsp sugar: 8 flower buds

Thoughts
Delicious and just like the boxes of chrysanthemum tea. Adjust sugar to taste. Made a batch recently with 50 flower buds, 1tsp sugar, steeped 30min and it was pretty good.
