INGREDIENTS
- 4 heads broccoli, in florets
- 2.5lb (~4) chicken thighs, 1″ pieces
- 4-6 garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tbs sesame oil
- 2 tsp corn starch
- Green onions
- Red chili
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut broccoli into florets and steam.
- Mince garlic, cube chicken, and mix together sauce.
- In a large pan, fry chicken until browned.
- Add in garlic and cook until golden. Add in sauce and reduce 2-3min. Stir in broccoli.
Thoughts
This recipe is very saucy. The sauce can be further reduced with corn starch or the extra sauce makes tasty teriyaki rice / noodles. Next time, I may also add red chilies for some spiciness.
