INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbs thyme
- 1 tbs rosemary
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup war, water
- 2.25 tsp yeast
- 1/2 tsp honey
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mince garlic. In saucepan, add in olive, garlic, and herbs. Heat over low heat for 5-10min. Ensure garlic does not brown.
- In a large mixing bowl, add in water, yeast, and honey. Let sit for 5min or until yeast is foamy.
- Add in 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup of the infused olive oil. Stir until flour moistened, let sit for 5min.
- Add in the rest of the flour (1.5 cups) and salt. Knead 10-15 times or until smooth.
- Cover in an oiled bowl and let rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 450 deg F.
- Transfer dough to non stick baking sheet (13″x18″). Use finger to press dough down and dimple surface. Add remaining olive oil on top.
- Let dough rise for 20min.
- Bake until golden brown, 15-20min.
